A true friend is like a rare diamond; he cannot be replaced by anyone else once he passes into your life. This why I find Joshua my greatest friend ever, and my life seems a bit empty due to the gaping hole he has left in it.
Joshua first appeared in my life way back when we were kindergartners. At that time, we were too little to comprehend anything properly and we were brought close to each other due to the fact that our parents were great friends. The relationship between the two of us started out as a mild friendship, but over time, grew to become one of the strongest bonds I have ever shared with a person.
It is while starting to describe his physical attributes that I realise that I haven’t paid much attention to how he looks. To give a short description about him, he has curly hair, with eye which are brown in colour, and a physique that is plump.
As far as habits went, there isn’t much to separate both of us. We shared a lot of similarities and that helped us to get along really well. His great characteristics make him the best person to have at one’s side. He is honest, cheerful and very friendly. His optimism is what shows through the most, due to the fact that I am pessimistic in nature. He loves basketball a lot and would have been an incredible basketball player if not for his slow movements.
Despite my great friendship with Joshua, the most dramatic experience I must have had with him was when he told me that he was leaving the school. From then, even though I have had several friends, none of them has been able to fill the void in my life that Joshua once occupied.
